WOW! It has been longer than I thought since my last post. Isn't it amazing how time flies. I am not promising a daily Blog but I am going to do my best to write more often.

My life has been a whirlwind of chaos and the greatness of God, heaviness and joy, nothingness and creativity, depression and hope. You say how can that be? Because although I love God with all my being and I pray and study my word, I still have flesh, a big heart and I still live in this world. I felt strongly to write this post today, I feel like somebody needs to hear it.

If you struggle with the issues of life bringing chaos, heaviness, nothingness and depression then welcome to Spiritual Warfare. The life of a believer will inevitably go through these up and down seasons. Don't believe me? How do you answer Job, or Elijah or David, or Ezekiel...the list goes on. All through out the Word we read how the very ones God chose to use went through these seasons.

I believe the Great Potter (Isaiah 64:8) of our life is working out some of the 'spots' in our lives so we can become ALL that He has purposed. It is not ok to just have partial victory...Partial victory doesn't make history. Instead of having a mediocre outcome God is doing exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us! (Ephesians 3:20) So, if you feel like you are spinning around on the potters wheel in a world-wind of being poked, stretched, pulled, flattened down and then remolded...your not alone.

But there is hope in our final outcome because:

We are God's [own] handiwork [His workmanship] recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined [planned beforehand] for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time, that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live.]
Ephesians 2:10

For I know that thoughts and plans that I have for you says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.
Jeremiah 29:11

You have hope despite your circumstances, you have hope despite you feelings, you have hope because Your daddy God is not surprised at all by this present season but in the end He is working out ALL THINGS FOR THE GOOD OF OUR FINAL OUTCOME!

Confess In Your Mess!

In the middle of your mess, what is coming out of your mouth? Your future is in the balance....

I was reading Genesis 22, the story of Abraham offering Issac, his only son, to the Lord. I found it interesting that the Bible does not say that Abraham responded verbally to God when told to sacrifice his son. In fact, it appears he did not say anything at all. Vs 2 God gives the instruction and Vs 3 it says "Abraham got up early in the morning and saddled his donkey...". Vs 4-5 then says "On the third day Abraham raised his eyes and saw the place from a distance. Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey, and I and the lad will go over there; and we will worship and return to you." In other words, Abraham waited until he had the faith to declare all would be well before he spoke. He said WE will return to you. He was declaring that he and his son would return. I am sure in the three days leading up to this, including the night God gave him the instruction to sacrifice his son, he had some moments of doubt. In fact, I am sure his heart was in anguish over the thought of loosing his son. Some of us would have spoke negative about this situation...I am sure it FELT negative in the moment, after all this was his son, his flesh and blood, the one he waited years for! In the middle of his mess Abraham chose to guard his mouth.

Then the best part happens. Vs 7-8 "Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, "My father!" And he said, "Here I am, my son." And he said, "Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?" Abraham said, "God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." So the two of them walked on together." There again, Abraham responds to his son in faith. He is on his way to do the unthinkable, it has to be one of the darkest, heaviest days of his life and yet he is still trusting God to be a WAY MAKER! He believed God was going to make a way for him to keep his son. He believed in the promise of God more than the present situation he found himself in. Hear me today, the Word of God states "You shall decree a thing and it shall come to pass." It is my opinion that when Abraham spoke the words "God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering" , it was in that moment that the ram was caught in the bushes. (Vs. 13 "Then Abraham raised his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns; and Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering in the place of his son.")

I believe you have to confess in your mess!! What are you confessing, what are you decreeing? Like Abraham, you may feel like you are facing an unthinkable situation. This may feel like the darkest days of your life, but through it all GUARD YOUR MOUTH and never stop believing. The promises of God are still YES and AMEN, even when your circumstances look contrary!

Today is a VERY special day!

Forty years ago today the world was blessed with the birth of my hubby! Pastor Billy Hull is an extraordinary man in every way. He is a wonderful daddy to our three sons. He is the kind of husband every woman dreams of. He is my knight in shining armor. He is my biggest supporter. He loves me unconditionally. He is my partner in ministry. He is the one I am going to grow old with. I can't imagine my life with out him because more than anything else...HE IS MY BEST FRIEND!

Adversity Part 5

In this last part of the Adversity series I want to encourage you that the current struggle you are going through is just that.....a season you are going through! Adversity is just a page out of the book....it is not the whole book. Although it feels like it is your life right now...this current season is just one page of one chapter of your journey. The good news is God is about to turn the page!!

Just remember that pity parties only postpone your victory! You say Pastor, I am so tired of this season....when can I have another "mountaintop" experience. Well, the fact is, the mountaintop is not a place to dwell. The mountaintop is a place of extreme sun, heat, rocks, dryness. A mountain top is really only good for one thing......a great view! Your mountain top experience is a time to give you a view of what is to come. It is a time to look at the prophetic commercial of where you are headed. But then you must keep walking to get there. That will require that you go down the mountain and encounter a valley season...a season of adversity. But the great thing about the valley is it's life. That is where you will find water and shade and rich soil. Growth actually happens in the valley, not the mountain top.

Decide today that the adversity of this season is producing life, growth, maturity, revelation and VICTORY in you! Hear this prophetic word from God today...He has already read the book of your life. He knows your end from your beginning, your first chapter from your last and I hear Him saying today it's time to turn the page to your next chapter and from where He is sitting IT LOOKS GOOD!!!

Adversity Part 4

As stated yesterday, if you have not read the previous posts Adversity parts 1-3 please do so now....

Mark 4:35 - 5:20
On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. And agreat windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”

Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.” For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!” Then He asked him, “What is your name?”
And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country. Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.” And at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea. So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened. Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. And those who saw it told them how it happened to him who had been demon-possessed, and about the swine. Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region. And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.

The next part of the story I want to focus on is what happens when you arrive at "the other side". You see many times in life we make the declaration, "I am going to the other side". Contrary winds start to blow and we can either be like Jesus or like the disciples. We can choose to be awake to the storm and asleep to God as the disciples were, then we never even make it close to our next level because we coward in fear at the first sign of contrary winds. Or we can be awake to God and asleep to the storm as Jesus was and realize that when the promise was given and the deceleration was made that "you ARE going to the other side", then contrary winds will not panic you, stop you, or cause you to change your course.

The fact is the contrary winds are only the first level of spiritual warfare you will encounter when accessing your next level. Let's refer back to our text it says that "Legion" a man possessed by demons was assigned to the entrance of the city. In face, when Jesus and the disciples get off the boat...before they can access the gate of their next season....they are "IMMEDIATELY" met by opposition.

At every level of your life there are opposing forcing working against the Kingdom of God that is inside of you. How you handle these opposing forces will cause you to gain access to the promises and advance the Kingdom or not. In this case, the winds of opposition and the IMMEDIATE attack of a demonic encounter occurred because there were souls of 10 cities at stake. Notice the last line of our text "And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled."

Decapolis definition

ten cities=deka, ten, and polis, a city, a district on the east and south-east of the Sea of Galilee containing "ten cities," which were chiefly inhabited by Greeks.

Because Jesus was willing to go through contrary winds and demonic encounter all marveled at the goodness and power of God.

Today me must begin to see our "storms" differently. Any time we are about to access a new dimension, another level or a new door of opportunity we will encounter the same thing Jesus did. We must press in and realize, "every new level brings a new devil". And as true as that is we also must realize that as we conquer the devil of that level a whole 'nother level and the souls of that region are waiting on us!!

Adversity Part 3

If you did not read the last post titled "Adversity Part 2" I encourage you to do so before you read this one because I am going to dig right in.....

As soon as the statement was made "we are going to the other side" winds of adversity begin to blow. But the next part of the story is just as interesting. Just on the other side was "Legion", a man possessed by demons.

Let's look at is again.....
"Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.

Here is something very interesting that proves demonic spirits are very territorial. They knew Jesus was going to free the man....there was no doubt of that. Their only request is that they stay in their country. There are areas of your life that have been under attack for a very long time and you have not made the connection that it has everything to do with territory.

I believe this is both physical location as well as "areas" of your life. For instance, there are spirits that are over a certain city, or region that have to be dealt with. But, I also believe there are "territories" of your heart, your life, that the enemy tries to influence. Spiritual warfare is real and we must begin to understand the enemy will zone in on a particular territory and stir up contrary winds, try to bring fear, and cause you to want to run in retreat!

Start today, look at a map of your region, read some statistics of the area you live in. What are some of the territorial spirits that you need to be aware of and war against? But also, do an inventory of your life. What are the areas you seem to always struggle in? Where are you weak? Pinpoint that "territory" of your heart and don't let the enemy surprise you ever again when he wishes to stay....send him away and live FREE!

Adversity part 2

Yes, I know that was a lot of reading for a blog but I wanted to post all of it today because I will probably blog about it for a couple of days. There are numerous things we can learn from this passage about adversity. Today I want to focus on the reality of the spirit realm.

Jesus makes a deceleration we are crossing over to the other side and immediately the story turns grim and the contrary winds start to blow. Waves are tossing to and fro and the disciples think they are about to die. When you determine you are going to your next level, when you declare you are going to the other side, the enemy will send out an all points bulletin in the realm of the spirit to cause you to fear~! Contrary winds will blow just to make you think that you aren't going to make it to the other side. Waves of emotion, doubt, lack, insecurity will come to make you think you are going under.

Jesus lets us know exactly how we are to handle the storms of our life....He slept. You see Jesus was AWAKE to GOD and asleep to the storm. The disciples were AWAKE to the STORM and asleep to God. So today, ask yourself...Am I awake to my storm? Am I watching the storm, worried about the storm, stressing about the storm....or am I resting in God and casting all my care upon Him?

The truth is the storm was only the beginning of the demonic assault trying to prohibit the disciples and Jesus from getting to the other side.....stay tune for "Adversity part 3."

There are seasons of our lives that we encounter great adversity. It seems as if contrary winds are blowing at every turn. Many have learned to take these seasons in great faith knowing that God is about to transition them to their next level. While others are tossed to and fro and never seem to grow or mature.

I want to encourage you to begin to see your adversity different. First of all, the minute you became a CHRISTIAN you inherited an enemy known as your ADVERSARY.....so adversity is just part of the game! Each level that you overcome the adversity and defeat the adversary you are promoted in the Kingdom.

I like to say it another way,

Deal with the dirt because the dirt is part of the deal!

If you take a flower and you dig a hole and you plant that flower in dirt it can then form a root system and begin to grow. If you leave that same flower laying on your kitchen table, while it may look pretty a few hours IT WILL DIE! In our lives, it is time we try to quit looking pretty to every one around us. Quit worrying about who is watching and what everyone else is doing. Fruitfulness does not happen without dirt! Begin to thank God for the dirt so you can begin to LIVE AND GROW.

Your adversary is like a roaring lion seeking who he may devour. Turn the table on him and allow your adversity, the dirt in your life, to be a catalyst that opens the door to your next level!!

As He is......

There is a statement found in 1 John 4:17 you have to hear "....as He is, so are we in this world."

Did you hear that "AS HE IS SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD"!! What does that mean? That means that everything He is we are.

He is powerful...we are powerful

He is anointed...we are anointed

He is whole and healthy...we are whole and healthy

He lives in abundant riches...we live in abundant riches

He has peace that passes understanding...we have peace that passes understanding

He has revelation...we have revelation

And the list goes on......As He is so are we!

And not only that, the Word says "as He is so are we IN THIS WORLD" in other words, not one day in the sweet by and by, but NOW! We are like Him, we are made in His image, we are created to do even greater works, we are called, we are destined. We are seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven and joint heirs with Christ. We have His name, His Spirit, His blood pumping through us. As He is, so are we in this world. Get a new perspective today and begin to see yourself the way He sees you!

Seek or Serve

I have a very important question for you today. Have you been serving God more than you've been seeking God?

If so, this blog may explain some things. There are times in our lives that we get so wrapped up in serving Him and we forget that we are supposed to be seeking Him. When that happens our lives are out of balance. We feel tired, insecure, hopeless and it shows!

Think about the story of Mary and Martha...

Luke 10:38-42

³⁸Now while they were on their way, it occurred that Jesus entered a certain village, and a woman named Martha received and welcomed Him into her house.

³⁹And she had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord's feet and was listening to His teaching.

⁴⁰But Martha [overly occupied and too busy] was distracted with much serving; and she came up to Him and said, Lord, is it nothing to You that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me [to lend a hand and do her part along with me]!

⁴¹But the Lord replied to her by saying, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things;

⁴²There is need of only one or but ^[i]a few things. Mary has chosen the good portion [^[j]that which is to her advantage], which shall not be taken away from her.

Martha was busy serving God. In fact, the Amplified version says she was overly occupied and too busy (A place I can honestly say I find myself a lot). And you can tell that things have gotten out of whack because in the middle of Jesus and Mary's conversation she interrupts saying, ' Lord, is it nothing to You that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me [to lend a hand and do her part along with me]!' SMH version, "Lord can't you see how much work I am doing FOR YOU trying to get everything just right and SHE is not even helping one bit...don't you even care about me that I am doing this all alone.....make her get up and help me!!"

Can't you hear the emotions pouring out of her? I have found in my life that when I get out of balance by spending more time serving Him then I do seeking Him, I start to sound a lot like Martha.

Remember Deuteronomy 4:29 does not say, "But you shall SERVE the Lord your God, you will find Him if you truly SERVE Him with all your heart and soul and life." NO it says, You shall SEEK the Lord your God and you will find Him if you SEEK Him with all your heart, soul and life.

Matthew didn't say in chapter 6:33 "SERVE first His Kingdom and all of these things will be added unto you". It says, SEEK first His Kingdom......(On a side note I love this verse because it let's also tell us that the SEEKING must come first, before the serving!)

David didn't say in Psalm 40:16 "Let all those that SERVE and require You rejoice and be glad in You" He said let all who SEEK rejoice and be glad.

And in Psalm 119:2 It does not say "Blessed (happy, fortunate and to be envied) are they who keep His testimonies and SERVE Him." It says that, Blessed (happy, fortunate and to be envied) are those that SEEK Him.

Are you starting to get it? We tend to live our lives like SERVING is the answer!! If I just do more, help more, go more....why don't we make this the season that we SEEK MORE! There is a whole 'nother level of your walk with Christ when you move past just being a server and become a SEEKER.

Listen, before you start sending me messages about "working for the Lord" and "serving our brothers in Christ" I am not by any means saying there is not a great deal of work involved in advancing the Kingdom. Trust me this journey is not for the lazy or faint-hearted but I just want to bring understanding that there has to be balance. The more you are called to do in the Kingdom, the more you have on your plate, the more SERVING you are doing there has to be THAT MUCH MORE SEEKING! And what might have been enough to get you through last season my not be the same this season.

I challenge you to find some time to SEEK His face this weekend. Set aside some time and learn the secret that David learned when he said in Psalm 63:1, "O God, You are my God, earnestly will I SEEK You; my inner self thirsts for You, my flesh longs and is faint for You......"

There are more WITH YOU than AGAINST YOU!!

Today I want to share a blog by Pastor Deanna Shrodes. I always enjoy reading her blog but this one really spoke to me so I wanted to share it with you today!

There are more WITH YOU than AGAINST YOU!!!
The enemy absolutely loves to distract us from the truth and throw unpredicted circumstances, symptoms, and problems our way, all designed to get us to think we're washed up, finished, hopeless! Here is the truth -- the enemy knows he can't possibly steal our true riches in Christ, so his familiar tactic is to try to get us to lose sight of anything and everything else and deceive us into thinking we're facing impossible circumstances. Whatever is happening in your life remember that God specializes in what we may think are insurmountable odds.

If you are facing what looks like an impossible situation today I encourage you to open your eyes to what God wants to show you in the spirit. Remember when the army surrounded the Israelites in II Kings 6:15-17? A servant was absolutely struck with fear came to Elisha and told him the devastating news. However, Elisha chose peace and reassured the servant..."do not fear, for those who are with us more than those who are with them..." Elisha chose to respond with prayer and what happened? Suddenly the servant's eyes were truly opened to the spirit realm...they saw the TRUTH, which was that all of the hills around them were covered with horses and chariots of fire!!!!! THERE WERE MORE WITH THEM THAN AGAINST THEM!

God's got your back!!!!

Spiritual realities ARE your realities. What is going on in the spiritual realm is every bit real as whatever circumstance you were just hit with. Keep your eyes on what is TRUE, not on the distractions of the enemy. Moment by moment, God will give you instructions for victory. He has provided people to surround you and fight this battle with you in the spirit.

Fear is something I have battled in my life, and I know it's power -- fear can destroy you if you let it. Don't let it!!! Over and over again God instructs us not to fear. If you add up all the places He told

CALL TO ARMS

I am so excited about the future!!

But please listen up....it is not because everything looks good now! In fact, it seems that every area of my life is under INTENSE attack in this season. I have gotten a bad report from the doctor, my finances have been majorly targeted, my oldest son is running and facing some very strong consequences that has the heart of this mama crushed. My list goes on. I am not saying this to give the devil glory or to earn your sympathy but to let you know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!

There is serious warfare happening right now across the body of Christ. I have sensed in my spirit just today while meditating that the enemy has deployed the arsenal of hell against the body of Christ. All are affected but hear me today; those of us who have a strong call on our lives to advance the Kingdom are going to face a strong assault. However, I am also hearing the Holy Spirit say three simple words CALL TO ARMS!

The term "Call to Arms" according to Merriam Webster means:
1. a summons to engage in active hostilities
2. a summons, invitation, or appeal to undertake a particular course of action

Today, instead of focusing on the attack, or the natural circumstances surrounding the attack, begin to say CALL TO ARMS! All over this nation God is going to strengthen warriors who will hear the summons to engage the Kingdom! In the Kingdom of God battle decides your rank and the spoils of war are always worth the battle! We must continue to to take God and His word literal. Release the power of the Word into your circumstances but declaring according to Ephesians 3:20 and Matthew 16:19. In fact say it out loud with me now,

"God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or think according to the power that works IN ME. And that's not all I will have complete and free access to God's Kingdom, keys to open any and every door; no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is a yes in heaven. A no on earth is a no in heaven!"

Begin to build yourself up in faith. Read scriptures on faith, read books on faith, according to Jude 20 build yourself up in your most Holy Faith by praying in the Spirit. You cannot live a faith based life unless you are living a spirit filled life. It is time to take charge, take over and defeat our enemy!

I am on a mission as a FREEDOM FIGHTER!! And I have GOOD news....WE WIN!!

Enter Your Rest Through Your Wilderness

7For He is our God and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice, 8Harden not your hearts as at Meribah and as at Massah in the day of temptation in the wilderness, 9When your fathers tried My patience and tested Me, proved Me, and saw My work [of judgment]. 10Forty years long was I grieved and disgusted with that generation, and I said, It is a people that do err in their hearts, and they do not approve, acknowledge, or regard My ways. 11Wherefore I swore in My wrath that they would not enter My rest [the land of promise]." Psalm 95: 7-11

The Psalm here is referring to the passage in Exodus 17 where the children of Israel begin to complain about the lack of water. I found a couple of things interesting...first of all God does not say the people erred because they grumbled or complained or didn't trust me (now all of that is true) but He said "THEY ERR IN THEIR HEARTS". Do you realize it is the condition of the heart that God really cares about. In fact, He says it was the condition of their heart that "grieved and disgusted" Him!!

Also, I love word studies because they are so powerful in understanding meanings behind the scripture. So of course I had to understand more about Meribah and Massah. Look at these definitions.....

Massah - proving "testing ground"

Meribah - a place of strife, to contend or struggle

So get this, it is during your testing ground, the place you have to contend and do spiritual warfare...your wilderness...that you need to guard your heart the most. Your testing ground will expose what is in your heart.

Here is the question, how do you guard your heart during the tough times? Hebrews chapters 3 and 4 answer that question quite well. Hebrews 3:15 says, "Then while it is still called Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion [in the desert, when the people provoked and irritated and embittered God against them.] vs 19 So we see that they were not able to enter [into His rest], because of their unwillingness to adhere to and trust in and rely on God [unbelief had shut them out]. Chapter 4 continues to expand on this and I encourage you to read both chapters because I believe God is trying to get us to enter His rest. The word "rest" in the Greek here does not mean lay down, quit, get lazy. It literally means "SPIRITUAL INHERITANCE". PRAISE GOD!!

So, if I sum all of this up and take a 3 week sermon and turn it into a one day blog this is what I am saying. Make sure you guard your heart during times of testing and trials. Lean, rely and trust in God that all things are working together for your good. Understand that you have to live IN FAITH at all times to be a warrior of God. Don't allow your unbelief to shut you out of your promises. If the children of Israel had of guraded their hearts and trusted in God completely the 40 year trip could have been DAYS instead of YEARS.

I am asking you today, what have you been waiting YEARS on that God wants to give you in a matter of DAYS? If you will adjust your heart and step out in FAITH you can enter your Spiritual Inheritance!!

But I Don't Feel Like It...

I enjoy reading Blogs from other Pastors and Ministry leaders. One blog that really stands out is Perry Noble's Blog. Today he wrote a blog entitled "But I Don't Feel Like it" and I wanted to share it with you! It is a great reminder that we are not two-year-olds.....we must grow up!

I hope you enjoy......

Maturity as a believer in Christ is when I consistently make the decision to trust and obey what God’s Word says rather than the way that I feel. BECAUSE…honestly, there are going to be times as human beings where obedience isn’t the easy thing or the fun thing…but it’s always the right thing.

I’ll say it again…what God’s Word says MUST trump the way I feel. Our feelings often change based on what we eat, how much coffee we have or if our favorite sports team wins; however, God’s Word DOES NOT CHANGE…it is both constant and consistant…and when we place ourselves in submission to HIS WORD rather than our world of feelings, greater things are in store.

For example…
I may not feel like forgiving someone. They hurt me, wronged me…and for me to forgive them feels like they are getting away with what they do. However, God’s Word commands me to love and forgive others (see Ephesians 4:32, Matthew 6:14-15, Romans 12:14-21). Forgiveness is NOT an option for followers of Christ…it is a command.

I may feel that nothing is wrong with the person I am dating. No, they are not a Christian…but they are really nice, do some nice things…and if I continue to stay with them then they “might” give their lives to Christ. However, God’s Word clearly says in II Corinthians 6:14 to NOT be yoked together with unbelievers. We can’t say we completely belong to Jesus if we are going to be flippant about what He has clearly commanded in His Word.

I may feel that there is nothing wrong with sex outside of marriage; after all, what’s the problem if both people are consenting adults, right? However, the Bible is so clear in I Corinthians 6:18-20 and I Thessalonians 4:3-8 that we are to run away from sexual immorality, not towards it. When we desire an orgasm more than obedience to God’s Word the result is always disaster!

I may feel like I can worship Jesus without my money being fully surrendered to Him; however, He said WAY too much in His Word for this to be an option. AND…He said in Matthew 6:21 that our heart WILL follow our money. The quickest way to have a fully surrendered heart is to have a fully surrendered wallet!

I may feel like I don’t need church to worship Jesus; after all, there are a whole bunch of imperfect people at church. However, the Bible is clear in Colossians 1:18 that Jesus is THE HEAD of the church, it is HIS body…and if we are going to be fully devoted followers of Christ, then what matters to Him MUST matter to us…and one would have to be a fool to look at the Scriptures and conclude that His church does not matter to Him!

I may feel like lashing out in anger because I am not getting my way…but God’s Word clearly says in Philippians 2:3-5 that it is NOT about me and that I am clearly responsible for my attitude.

I may not feel like sharing Christ with someone or inviting them to church; however, Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:45-48, John 20:21 and Acts 1:8 that us sharing our faith is NOT an option. He didn’t suggest it…He commanded it and then empowered us to do it.

I could go on and on…but you have definitely gotten the point by now. When God’s Word is so clear on something for us to choose to follow our feelings over His facts is absolute insanity! Jesus Christ is the same always (Hebrews 13:8) and HIS WORD will NEVER pass away (Luke 21:33!)

I’m not saying this is easy, heck, even the apostle Paul wrestled with this (See Romans 7:15-21!!!) However, when we choose to fix our eyes and thoughts on Jesus and HIS WORD (Colossians 3:1-2) then we can rest assured that we will ALWAYS make the right decision!

Key to open EVERY door

Matthew 16:19

"And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

I can't seem to get this verse out of my spirit lately! Read it again in the Amplified version....

"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven."

And the Message Bible:

“And that’s not all. You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven.”

There is something powerful about this verse and I believe God is trying to get our attention. I was talking to my cousin, Brent Gibson, this past weekend and he confirmed this is a verse he has been meditating on lately too. Another friend said that every time she opens her Bible it keeps falling open to that verse.

Please open your ears of FAITH and hear me today.....We have complete and free access to God's Kingdom....keys to open EVERY door! I encourage you this week to read this verse over and over! Memorize it, write it, keep it in front of you, tattoo it on :o) What ever you need to do but don't quit until you GET IT!!!

Throw in your Nets!

This past weekend was the IPHC SonShine Conference Campmeeting! It was awesome! There were three main speakers, My daddy - Bishop Ray Willis, Bishop Ron Carpenter Sr., and Bishop Tony Miller. Words really can't describe the amount of revelation that was released by these three incredible men of God! I will probably blog about it over the several weeks but today I want to tell you about a statement Bishop Ron Carpenter Sr. said that messed me up!

He simply said "God has to increase your capacity to receive. Like Peter, when Jesus told him to throw out his nets and Peter only threw out one......."

He then went on to preach the rest of a wonderful message but Sunday morning I looked up this reference of Peter fishing in Luke 5 and read it in the KJV. It says this:

¹And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

²And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

³And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

⁴Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

⁵And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

⁶And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

⁷And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

I found this whole story so interesting and so exciting! First of all, like many of us, Peter had been doing what he was supposed to do. He had been out all night fishing, working, toiling. But, he had caught nothing!! I am sure he was tired (he'd been up all night) and he was frustrated (he worked all night and had nothing to show for it). Like many of us, we are working and doing what we feel like we are supposed to do, yet we have not seen the harvest yet.

Then it tells us in verse 2 that the fisherman were washing their nets. Jesus decided to borrow Peter's boat to preach from (vs 3) and then decides to pay him back for letting him borrow the ship (vs 4) by telling him to cast his NETS into the water. But those are the same nets he had used to stay up all night fishing with and caught nothing. He was already tired and frustrated and his response was to just take ONE of those nets and throw it into the water. The result? More fish than his boat could hold...he had to call over another fishing buddy and they filled his boat too! Praise God! We always stop right there and celebrate but let me ask you a question. What would happen if he would have thrown all of his NETS in? What was God's intended harvest? How much blessing was there supposed to be??

God is wanting to increase our capacity to receive but are we only offering him A NET...because we have tried and tried before and we don't want to get our hopes up again?? We have already washed our "nets" and have them neatly folded and tucked away somewhere because we have secretly begin to lose hope that the BIG harvest will come. But I have to ask you again...what would happen if we threw in all our nets? What kind of harvest is God really wanting to give you?

It is going to take some big steps of faith for Billy and me this year but we are going to throw in ALL our nets and believe God for the full blessing and harvest in our lives! Why don't you join us in throwing in your NETS and seeing what God really has in store for you~!

Are you PAYING ATTENTION?

There is a TV show on CBS called The Mentalist. According to CBS "THE MENTALIST stars Golden Globe Award nominee Simon Baker as Patrick Jane, an independent consultant with the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI), who has a remarkable track record for solving serious crimes by using his razor sharp skills of observation. Within the Bureau, Jane is notorious for his blatant lack of protocol and his semi-celebrity past as a psychic medium, whose paranormal abilities he now admits he feigned. Jane's role in cracking a series of tough high-profile cases is greatly valued by his fellow agents."

I can honestly say I have never watched this show....so why am I talking about it today? Because I saw a commercial for an upcoming episode that got me excited. In the commercial Patrick Jane said "They are wrong.....I'm not psychic I'm just paying attention!!"

WOW!! My spirit jumped!! Because here we are, Christians, filled with the very Spirit of God Himself. We have His name, authority, and power. The Bible tells us that mysteries have been hidden for us. It also says that we are going to do greater works than Jesus did. And according to John 16:13 (Amplified version)
"But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all Truth. For He will not speak His own message (on His own authority); but He will tell whatever He hears (from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him) and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come (that will happen in the future)

The Word says that the Holy Spirit is our guide, our teacher, or mentor. He will speak to you what He hears from God and He will declare to you things that are to come. The problem is.....we need to PAY ATTENTION!! We get so caught up in life, work, children, jobs, church...yes even good things keep us too busy sometimes. When was the last time you just sat in the presence of God QUIET. Not asking Him for anything, not complaining, not begging.....just listening? If you don't pay attention to the voice of the Holy Spirit you could be missing what He is trying to show you. The above passage says He will "announce" and "declare" both of those statements implies you have to listen. We need to start making a daily habit of paying attention to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Everyday we need to slow down and listen.

Then we can say to the world around us....."WE'RE NOT PSYCHIC WE ARE JUST PAYING ATTENTION!" ;o)

I don't even know where to begin with telling you about this lady! Let's just say if you are going through something Gwen has probably been there, bought the shirt, and can help you out of it! She has lost her parents in violent deaths. She was in a car accident that ejected her from the car then on the way to the hospital was in another wreck that caused her to suffer greatly with a broken neck and back. She understands addiction to drugs and alcohol but also understands God's delivering power. She is a widow with 6 children so she can tell you what it is like to be a single woman and trust God to be your husband and provider. She stands in the gap for her children and decrees them all saved in Jesus name. She serves as an Elder of The Winners Church and is my personal Armor Bearer and friend. Last, but certainly not least, she is a lover of God, a worshiper and a woman to be admired!

Here is what she had to say about the Life Coaching Women's Retreat.....

I would have to say, stirring in my spirit a week before the Women's Retreat; I felt a deep “falling in love with Jesus” moment that would take place in us at the retreat. My spirit was so excited and expecting to receive what God had for me.

The day of arrival we got settled in, had a great dinner then started our first session. Pastor Shelisa shared with us the topic "Hide and Seek". She asked for us to turn to Song Of Solomon Chapter 3:1. I then sensed a heaviness come upon me. I sat there meditating for a while and all I could hear was myself talking to Jesus out of that chapter. It got really intense. I felt like I was going back to my first love all over again. Engaged and now married to the one I love the most, my bridegroom (Jesus). I fell so deeply in love with Him that ever since then He keeps me longing and seeking for Him day and night. I hunger for my bridegroom...He alone can satisfy my deepest longings. During my sleepless and uncomfortable nights all I can think about is Him.

The next morning we gathered for our second session. Falling in love with Christ all over again we decided to Divorce NORMAL! I had to Divorce from the normal in order to receive the supernatural. After signing the Divorce Decree I was hit with a double portion of mighty prophetic words from Pastor Shelisa and my daughter Tiesha. What they spoke to me was confirmation from God. He let me see that all He has promised has come to past and is still coming to pass. I know, for a fact, I will continue to stand still and wait on the Lord my God. He says that His way is the only way...OBEY!!! I am FREE!!! I have now signed the divorce degree in full Gwendolyn L. Davis. Now I Shall Walk In It.

This young woman, as you are about to read, is not afraid to step on toes or say it like it is. That is something we all love about Esha. I would encourage you to remember her name...you will be hearing more of it in the future! In fact, her future's so bright she better wear shades! As her spiritual mama I can say that I am proud of who she already is and I am watching on the edge of my seat as God unfolds the rest of her life...there is greatness in her!

At the Women's Retreat I learned how to give myself away to God, so He could use me. When I did, He used me as His mouthpiece to prophecy to His mighty women of God. I was so astonished that I wanted to dig deeper because I felt like He had more, so I sat mediating in His presence and let Him search my heart to the full extent. God gave me signs of what was about to happen in my life and who I needed to let go of (that were hindering me from moving in my calling) for Him to use me I had to seek His face ALONE! I didn’t call a friend and seek His face with them, NO; He wanted me all to Himself. He showed me stuff I asked for a long time ago because I sought Him with my whole heart. While I was crying out He told me He always wanted me at this place in my life. It’s a place I really don’t understand but He wants to show me that He uses people that are not afraid to speak out, no matter how it sounds or what it is He asks you to do. He said to me, “You will be the one I take and choose because I know you have a heart for me” and when He said that all I could do is look back over my life and the things I’ve been through and just call on the name of Jesus.

God wants to use us but we build up walls of defense even towards Him because we've been hurt so many times we don’t know who to trust. God is trying to let us know that He loves us and He will never hurt us or leave our side. Now He will allow some things to happen in your life to show your love for Him. Sometimes we don’t accept the fact that He has more in store for us if we just shut up and let him talk and stop getting in the way of what He has for us.

In fact, one night while at the women’s retreat all I could hear God saying was that we as women talk too much. He wants for us to be quiet and let Him talk. We tend to say stuff that He hasn’t told us to. Think before you say something because your tongue is a powerful weapon. God wants us to let Him talk sometimes. Give Him a chance to say some things in your life, things He has wanted to say for a long time but He didn’t want to interrupt you so He just let you keep talking. Another thing, we speak to soon. We jeopardize the good things in our lives because we speak bad things on them. God let me hear the words "My life is not my own, to Him I belong so I give myself to Him and Him alone.” I slept on these words playing over and over and over again in my head till I woke up the next morning hungry for more of Him and didn’t stop seeking His face until I got full of His Love!

I want to close with the last part of the prophetic words He shared through me for all the ladies at the retreat:

"This is the only way I can get your attention but I want you to break away so I can show you and open up to me because I promise I wont hurt you I am just trying to use you so don’t go back please don’t because there's more. I'm about to take you to that place but keep crying out because I want you to myself so be quiet and listen because I will do whatever it takes and speak only when I tell you to because you're my mouthpiece"!

Through the tears that rolled down my face and the lives I saw being changed God spoke these words to me because before He speaks through me He also steps on my toes as Pastora would say.

God told me "Esha there is something different about you and I sent people into your life to tell you that but instead you ignored my voice through them. But this is the day you will walk in your calling of being a prophet for me and you will serve only me and no one else. He also reminded me of something He has always said….that I will stand alone because there is no one else like me and He wants me all Himself. He went on to say, “Stand out Esha because I want to make it easy for my people to notice you by the way you present yourself to my world.”

I now let God use me freely in anyway He needs to because it’s not time to hold back. God gave you a gift so use it to the best of your ability so He can give you more of Him. I would like to say that what God has for me is for me. He never looks over the least to give to the greatest so be ready for the unthinkable because Ladies God is about to do some supernatural things in our lives. He does not want us to stop until the whole word knows that He's a Great God!

There are times that I don’t think we as a whole know how much He really loves and cares about us. The retreat taught me how to love myself and how to seek what has been hidden FOR me. My life will forever be changed and I am fully committed to God.

WOW! What Can I Say, I Have Never Felt God's Love The Way I Felt It Last Weekend At The Women's Retreat. God Really Moved In That Place From The Time We Got There, Till The Time We Left And Is Still Moving. The First Night We Arrived At The Retreat, After The Amazement Of A Beautiful House And A Delicious Dinner Thanks To Daddy Billy!!.....Pastor Shelisa Spoke A Word That God Had Given To Her, The Title Was "HIDE AND SEEK".

Let Me Say That A Long Time Before The Retreat I Had Felt God Tugging On My Heart, Telling Me I Need To Turn Back And Get Back Into Seeking His Face....Because As A Busy Young Lady I Kind of Got Off Track, Doing This, Doing That…Busy, Busy, Busy…Always On The Go. I Started Getting In His Presence Like 30 Minutes A Day, Reading Like Bits And Pieces Of His Word, And Going On About With My Busy Day. But Before The Chaos And The Busyness I Was In His Presence 24/7 Like Never Before. God Was Constantly Wrapping His Arms Around Me And Speaking To My Heart. When I Heard Pastor Speak On That Word, All I Could Do Was Burst Into Tears, Because I Knew Those Words Were From God, Sent Directly To Me. She Said That God Is Waiting For Us To Seek His Face Like Never Before. From Then On She Felt That All The Women Should Enter Into His Presence And Seek His Face. So We Turned On The Worship Music And Begin To Enter Into The Gates Of Heaven, Making A Joyful Noise, And Giving God Our ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I Was Speaking In Tongues And Seeking His Face, I Heard God Call My Name. He Whispered To Me The Most Powerful Words "I AM GOING TO FILL YOU BACK UP AGAIN.” I Didn't Know Right Then What It Actually Meant, Until Still In Shock I Shared It With Pastor And The Other Women. Pastor Looked Up And Walked Slowly Over To Me, And Put Her Hands On My Head, And Suddenly God Begin To Reveal To Her What The Meaning Of His Words To Me Meant. I Was So Amazed Because Before, Not Seeking Him And Being In His Presence Like I Was Suppose To, I Was Weak And Hungry For More Of Him. But The Moment I Became A Watchman In His Presence I Found Him, He Spoke So Fast, It Almost Seemed As If He Has Been Trying To Give Me That Word For The Longest Time, But I Just Wouldn't Stop Everything I Was Doing And Listen To Him. Tears, Tears, Tears...I Cried My Eyes Out Till I Couldn't Cry Any Longer. And I Asked God To Forgive Me For Not Seeking His Face And Giving Him My Whole Heart, Body, Mind, And Spirit Like I Was Suppose To. WOW!!! What A Long But Amazing Night I Had.

After This Women's Retreat I Feel Like I Will Never Be The Same Anymore. God Really Changed Me Inside And Out. And I Learned That Even When I Am Busy, God Still Loves Me Regardless. I Have Fallen Deeper In Love With God And I'm Going To Do Whatever It Takes To Seek Him More And More Everyday And Nothing Or No One Is Going To Change That.

One Thing I Can Say Is That Now I Am Divorced To The Natural And Now Living My Life In A Supernatural Way!!!!!!!

I don't know how I missed getting her picture on the last post....so in honor of our beautiful Latavius....I am re-posting her testimonial.

Latavius Brooks and her husband Albert are Elders at The Winners Church. They have three bright and amazing boys. The testimony of where God has taken them in their lives, what they have walked through and where they are going is worthy of a book! I would not be surprised if one day you read about the journey. God is using them to break cultural and generational curses and although at times it's a struggle they have not backed down, turned around or given up. They are truly walking on water...and this spiritual mama is proud!!

When asked to share briefly what this weekend did for her this was her response:

What my God did for me this past weekend was refresh me in a way I never have been before. I’ve never experienced that feeling before, it’s like I took a trip beyond a trip. It was so SUPERNATURAL (literally). Lately, in this season, I have been feeling so drained spiritually and mentally that it was almost like I couldn’t hear from God. But at the Women’s Retreat He reassured me and gave me confirmation that I am on the right track and He is with me. I wish everyone in the world could have tapped into what we tapped into. I even had someone tell me after I left the conference they see something different in me…wow!

I went into the conference a cowardly lion but left out a courageous lion on fire....HEAR ME ROAR~!

Elizabeth Demps - I can honestly say that when you need a laugh this is the women to call on! Elizabeth will make you smile, make you laugh and make you feel good about yourself! She has an amazing testimony that I believe she is going to share more in depth one day. However, in the mean time let me just say this, she has been at the lowest life can offer and she has not only came back, but came back strong! She was the first new convert in our church who within the first couple of months went home and read her entire Bible...cover to cover! She would call me and text me and tell me how God was literally speaking to her through her Word. I LOVE a God who will take us in our mess, wash our dirt minds clean and make us whole. Elizabeth is an example of God's mercy, grace and love in action...and we LOVE her!

At The Women's Retreat I Experienced Something That I Have Never Experienced Before In My Life With God. "I WAS REVIVED"God Created Me Over And Gave Me A New Heart. Now The Old Me Is Dead And Gone And Never Is To Arise Again. When God Revived Me, I Could Feel Him Breathing Within Me, Mouth To Mouth...A New Life. I Felt Like I Was In Surgery Having A Open-Heart Transplant. Through The Surgery I Was Being Healed From The Old Me. Now I Am Fully Recovered, Giving Myself Away To God So He Can Use Me.

JANICE LANG - Or MAMA JANICE as she is affectionately known - is one of the original covenant partners of The Winners Church. She has been with us since the first Sunday. For those who don't know when we started The Winners Church we only had a handful of people. Me, Billy and the boys lived in the back of the church. We converted Sunday school rooms into bed rooms and stepped out on faith to build a church. I can tell you one constant in my life through this entire process was Mama Janice. There were some Sunday's she and her son Kareem and my family were the only one's there!! Through it all, she has seen the big picture and has even had numerous dreams confirming God's will for The Winners Church. I am honored that she is a covenant partner....and even more honored that she is the MAMA of the house!!

I had a wonderful time at The Winning Women's Life Coaching Retreat. God really moved through all of us and did great works within us.

I learned that God knows my name, He knows me and my past is the past. God does not forget me when I back away and it takes me awhile to move forward again. He is still there waiting for me. I know that it is alright to smile and be happy.

I have since that time come to understand that God speaks to us in different ways. And I believe He speaks to me in dreams and with a creative spirit for drama and writing which, I need to start recording.

Doris Demps is a woman that has transformed from being a caterpillar to an emerging butterfly. She is the Youth Coordinator at The Winners Church and does a great job with our Middle and High School age students. I am always proud of her but today I am especially proud because she has decided to share the pain of her past to bring healing to others. She has opened up the box of "past" and emptied it out so Satan can never use it against her again. She used to live in shame and now she is FREE!! I know that SO MANY women have had a similar experience in your past so allow the testimony that Doris shares encourage you today!

Growing up as a little girl I always knew I was different from everyone else. I always wondered why? Why can't I be like everyone else? Filled with so much insecurity, I was always depressed and even suicidal, not knowing the reason until now.

While attending the Winning Women Life Coaching Classes I began reading Joyce Meyers, “Look Great Feel Great” book. As I read everything that she has been through as a child and her openness about being molested the more the memories came back. But this time God was allowing me to finally deal with them rather than locking them away. I had no idea that being molested when I was six years old would have affected me so much, even the way I made life decisions.

I have made a lot of mistakes, but being under a great covenant with my Pastors Billy and Shelisa I have grown tremendously and I am on my way to being the woman that GOD has intended me to be. I still have a ways to go but I am approaching and almost there, to the door that GOD is waiting behind to open and escort me in to my destiny.

Since our Winning Women Retreat, GOD is constantly on my mind and HIS name on my lips and He is surely in my heart. When I lay down at night to sleep He is my last conversation and the first one when I awake. I love this place that I am in. The love is so strong between my Father and I that all of the darts the enemy is throwing are bouncing off like a rubber ball hitting a wall, and unable break through. It’s because of GOD building up great Pastors that I am on my way to GREATNESS!

I give GOD all the GLORY and thank HIM for HIS love, patience, kindness and keeping me through the tough times and the mistakes…It’s nobody but GOD that I am still here today. Now I am a better mom to my wonderful children, Raekwon Tillman and Makaila Cason. Looking at their faces keeps me going and wanting the best for them.

My annual trip away

I am going to continue the series on Life Coaching Testimonials tomorrow on the blog...and I'm telling you DON'T MISS reading them.... what God is doing in the lives of these ladies is simply amazing!

However, today I want to share with you about a little tradition I have. It has become a yearly ritual that I go to my parents for the Memorial Day weekend.....alone! My WONDERFUL (and I am stressing WONDERFUL) husband offers to stay home and take care of the kids and handle church by himself so that I can have time alone with my mom and dad. It is a time that I can get away and rest, laugh, shop and just ENJOY myself.

This year as always we made memories! One of my favorites is when mom and I were still trying on a dressing room full of clothes when the attendant had to come and tell us the store was closing! Yes ladies, we closed them down! Then we drove all over Apopka and Altamonte Springs looking for Skinny Cow dream bars (Yes, they are that good! LOL), My dad went and got take out one night and we all stayed up late watching movies curled up on the coach. They have always been a blessing to me and even though I am grown and my needs and life are so different now then when I was a girl, they continue to nurture and love and take care of me. I am blessed!

For those who know me personally you understand that I keep an amazingly busy schedule. So, a couple of days of R&R is part of the balance that I MUST incorporate into my life from time to time. So today I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to MOM, DAD and of course my HUBBY for spoiling me for a few days! I LOVE YOU ALL!

Her daughter Dana loves to write and with her permission I included a poem she wrote in her journal at the very beginning of the retreat. I hope you enjoy their testimonies.

Dana Terry:

This retreat was more than what I needed, I walked into that house so heavy and burdened from so much junk that I didn't know how to ask for help. I try to do things by myself too much and I’ve wanted to prove that all I need is God, no one else. That just isn't true though. I had to end up so torn and broken to the point of not knowing how to turn back around until I admitted I needed other people and I wouldn't wish that on anyone! We need guidance, encouragement, and sometimes just someone willing to listen. We absolutely can not do this on our own! Now that was how I walked into the retreat... How I walked out though, was incredible!

This was the first thing I wrote when I got there, it was just before dinner.

Chaos filled my life yesterday, today has been rushed, but now I’m surrounded by those who love me. In this great big house, I want to scream out for help but yet I still feel so peaceful, everything is at a standstill.
Beautiful waters are in my sight, the sunset will soon fade into night. Docked out past the shore, will this be my time to stand, at all on rushing waters? I'm praying, this is my moment, I certainly feel it. I want to feel you, no matter if at a distant, I’ll rush to you no matter what’s intended.
Breaking status quo is where my feet are led to go. I am no average person and in that I am certain!
Ticking clocks, dancing through the time, it is passing. I feel this is my moment in time, to rush to you from the distant. I feel so distant. I'm running from afar, past arms reach, no matter how far, takes these scars, my heart will reach you, no matter how far.

After dinner we had our first session of the weekend. As soon as Pastor Shelisa started talked I started crying and couldn't stop. Everything she was saying is my hearts longing! I want to be so wrapped in God that He fills all my thoughts all day long. I've stopped myself because although that’s what I wanted after all I’ve been through recently I didn't feel like I could. The whole time she talked the burdens that had sank so deep within me started pouring out. I couldn't hold anything in anymore and once a little started coming out I wanted it all out! So I ended up balled up in the floor crying my eyes out, and even though I was surrounded by people I felt like I was alone and God was just sitting there right beside me. I started shaking uncontrollably and that wasn't the first time it’s happened. Ever since we went to the women’s conference at Christ Central Dallas to hear Pastor Shelisa minister I have had that experience several times. It feels like electricity is running through me at random times. I had no idea what it was about but I really didn't question it because honestly it was an addicting feeling.

I woke up the next morning feeling so peaceful, my eyes were swollen from the tears but I know tears bring healing. We hung out by the dock, had breakfast and just relaxed for a while and then we started our other session. We talked about our book that we've been reading and even in that I’ve learned so much! When our last session of the day came it felt like a tidal wave rushed in over me. We talked about the supernatural and that’s what I’ve been waiting on. I got so excited and my spirit was going crazy inside of me. It was true, I fell madly and deeply in love with God Friday night, and then Saturday the divorce papers were sitting right in front of me. I signed them, letting go of all normal things. My eyes, heart, mind, soul, and spirit were sick and tired of normal, so I signed it away from me! When Pastora was finished talking about everything and we had our divorce papers already signed she told us to spend some time alone with God. As everyone was in their own secret place once again I got so wrapped up in Him as Pastora went and prophesied over each of us. At first when she got to me she kept repeating that I was going to house His glory. Then she said I had electric current from God running through me, unaware of what I had already been feeling since Atlanta. I knew this was just confirmation. She continued to say that I was going to be like the hot plates that bring dead to life. I was going to lay hands on them and bring them back to life. I hadn't heard that spoken over anyone before but I finally knew why I had been feeling like electricity was inside me…because there is! As soon as I heard that I just let go. It was like I took 20 steps forward. WOW!

Dianna Terry:

What an awesome weekend. It was very tiring and stressful day until I got to the Women’s Retreat on Friday. The house was gorgeous and the view of the lake was indescribable. It was awesome being around such powerful women of God. The warm feeling of being loved is always special.

The one thing I now know is, I want less of me and more of Him. Sometimes it feels that when He is the farthest from me He is the closest. I love the fact that I never have to leave the presence of God.

I want to also say that the word spoken over us by Esha Davis is so true. God wants me to stop and listen and hear what He is saying to me. Sometimes I feel like I am in the middle of the storm and I don’t know how to get out. And yes, I am sick and tired of being the same way all the time. I am sick of being normal…but not anymore. I divorced normal and I will live a supernatural life. I love the feeling of being able to help others and allowing God to use me.

I really want to be different than I’ve ever been and even be different than others. So different that when they look at me they will be able to say there is something different about her! Pastor, I am going to stomp on the devils head!!

Valencia is in one word....AMAZING! This is the kind of lady that will inspire you to go further and do more than you ever thought possible. She is a single mom of three small children. She works full time, put herself through school and earned a BA degree in Human Services. Against all odds she has learned the principle of tithing and begin to sow and give and is now completely out of debt! On top of all that she is highly involved in the life of The Winners Church and as part of our ministry team she is the coordinator of our dance ministry...Women of Praise! And get this, I just found out that she is going to add going back to school in the fall, to her already busy schedule, to begin work on her MBA...can you say WOW!

When asked how Winning Women Life Coaching was helping her here is what she had to say...

The Winning Women’s Retreat taught me a lot about myself. The Word that you brought on Friday night about Hide and Seek just blew me away. I actually felt like I was falling in love with God and I was chasing after Him and He was chasing after me. God hides from us but He does it in a way that we can easily find Him. I’m actually at a point in my life now that I’m content with being single and being in love with Christ. I may be alone but I’m not lonely, because He is there with me. God was saying to me, fall in love with me first and let me show you what it really means to be loved. While we were praying and meditating I could actually see me and God dancing hand in hand and as we were dancing He said “let Me take the lead”. All this time I have been trying to lead myself in different areas of my life and God says, let Me take the lead. There are so many things that I have been trying to make happen for myself refusing to take my hands off and I’ve failed at each one every time because of being rebellious. But now I can honestly say I’m doing it scared but I’m walking on water.

Every word that has been prophesied to me I believe and I believe it will come to past, no matter what the natural looks like. My mama used to tell me all the time that I’m different, I use to take offense to that but now I know that I really and truly am different…I’m Supernatural. I never fit into a lot of stuff or groups in school because I wasn’t meant to fit. I use to be the puzzle piece that tried to force its way into the puzzle because I wanted to be just like everybody else. I wanted so desperately to be normal. I’m happy with who I am in Christ and I wouldn’t give it up for anything.

The Winning Women Life Coaching has really pushed me to be the Woman God has called me to be. There are many generational curses that I want stopped in my family and it will start with me. I’m the first to graduate with a college degree; I was the first to get myself out of an unhappy abusive marriage, the first to get out of that religious box that I was raised in. Words can’t express how much closer I feel to Christ or how excited I am about where the Winners Church is going. When you said, “ its not who we are that holds us back but who we think we are not”, man that really hit home. I’m bad about telling myself I can’t do certain things because that’s not me. I tell myself all the time I hate writing, I hate reading, or this is just not me. God is trying to pull me out of my comfort zone and I’m steady trying to force myself back because I don’t want to do more I want to be comfortable. So when you said God was going to break some comfort and security levels I felt that and have been feeling it for quite sometime, I just need to obey as Gwen said. I’m sick of mediocrity I want to excel, I want to soar. And I will. Thanks so much Pastora. I know I may not talk much but everything you say I’m taking it all in. And this time I don’t want to just talk about it I want to be about it and walk it out. MY soul says “YES” to God! Love ya!

This weekend at the retreat GOD literally changed my life in a sense that I feel like a new woman. GOD has opened my eyes to see that He really does loves me. I feel that there's nothing I need that GOD won't give me. I felt the love of GOD like never before. I found out that GOD is not short concerning His promise that if we really seek Him we will find Him and that's just what happened this weekend.

GOD has given me a desire to long for Him and I can honestly say I never had that amount of desire before. I really want to be where He is and love on Him even more...to fall so madly in love with Him it hurts. I am no longer the woman I was before the retreat. It's time for a DIVORCE...

OK, everyone wants to know about the "DIVORCE"!

This weekend at our Winning Women Life Coaching Retreat we begin with a Friday night session called Hide & Seek. A time that we discussed how much God loves us and how it is His desire for us to seek Him. This was based on a passage in Song of Solomon and I will post more about that message at a later time....check back often....you don't want to miss it. :o)

Then Saturday morning following a session of falling in Love with Christ all over again we decided to Divorce NORMAL! We must understand that we were never intended to be normal. In fact, normal is the opposite of supernatural like fear is the opposite of faith...they don't go together. Damon Thompson once said, "the cross gives you permission to divorce normal" and that thought has always stuck with me. So this weekend we actually signed divorce papers that we drew up to look just like legal court documents and each lady signed a contract that she was going to separate herself from the thing that was holding her back from the supernatural life in Christ that belonged to her.

Where have I been?

OK, I have had several people asking when am I going to have another blog to read! Sorry, it has been a crazy week, but an EXCITING one! I have been preparing for our Winning Women's Life Coaching retreat!

Yes! The time has finally arrived. This is something that we have planned and looked forward to all year. We are leaving tonight for our get-a-way and we will be staying in the beautiful house pictured above. The ladies going to this event are part of the Life Coaching group I meet with on a monthly basis. These ladies have committed and signed a contract stating that their lives are an open book to me and Pastor. WHY? Because this program is about change. It is about them becoming a WHOLE woman. The strength of this program is accountability and these ladies have agreed to not just talk the talk, but walk the walk. They have to complete homework assignments, attend class, read books, serve in ministry, etc. Which is why I am excited about this weekend. Our ladies worked hard and saved for this event and they so deserve some girl time alone with God!

Yes we are going to have fun...the pajama party kicks off the night tonight and I promise pictures to follow! But I can tell you this is going to be one intense weekend. I have been seeking God about this being a life altering, future changing event!! I obviously can't disclose to you YET what we have in store and ruin the surprise but I will leave you with this......

It's time for a DIVORCE!

Abide or Add On?

When He becomes more than an add on to your life He can begin to add on to your life~!

I believe there are seasons of change and there are seasons of growth but it is going to require that God is more than an add on to your life to truly be prosperous and successful. It is going to require some roots. Think of Psalm 1:3 "And he shall be a tree firmly planted [and tended] by streams of water ready to bring forth fruit in its season, its leaf also shall not fade or wither and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity.]" Understand it is only a tree firmly planted that brings forth fruit because the roots are what bring in the fresh supply of water and nutrients (life and power) needed to prosper.

There are people going to church who have added God onto their busy schedule but they have not taken time to get rooted and grounded and abide in HIM! Yet those are the very ones who always wonder why things never go their way and why they are always struggling. Listen closely God desires to be more than an add on to your life. He wants you to be intimately acquainted with Him. He wants to live life permanently connected to you. In fact, we always say that God is in us...which is true...and I am so thankful that He is. However, what we fail to realize is we are also IN God. We are hidden in Him, we breath in Him, we have life in Him! We are intimately connected...Him in us and us in Him.

Thank God daily that He abides in you, however if you are not abiding in Him then He has simply become an add on to your life.

EXPANSION

Here it is, the BIG news......You can say you got it here first!

My life is EXPANDING!

Websters 1828 defines it this way:

Expand - 1. To open; to spread; as a flower expands its leaves.
2. To spread; to enlarge a surface; to diffuse; as, a stream expands its waters over a plain.
3. To dilate.
4. To enlarge; to extend; as, to expand the sphere of; to expand the heart or affections.

I have read and quoted the prayer of Jabez before it is found in 1 Chronicles 4:10 "And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain." So God granted him what he requested."

I have also been meditating on Isaiah 54:2 "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen you cords, strengthen your stakes."

You say Pastor that is all good but HOW do you actually expand and enlarge....the key is found in Proverbs 10:27a (Message Bible) "The fear of God expands your life"!!!!

The fear of God is reverence, respect, obedience, awe and worship.

So what does all of this mean.....it means that I am at a place in my life where I have decided to simply fear God...I honor Him, obey Him, worship Him and that's it. I am going to take the Words of God literal "CEASE STRIVING (Be still) and KNOW that I AM GOD!!!" (Psalm 46:10). The truth is as a teenager and young adult I had it all figured out (be honest I know I wasn't the only one LOL) I just knew if I did point one, point two, point three.....I could make life happen the way I wanted it to happen. Can I tell you it didn't happen that way. Life happens...and not necessarily the way you planned it. There are curve balls you never saw coming. But over the last few years I have slowly come to the end of myself...I can honestly say the older I get the less I know. But this one thing I do know...."The fear of God expands your life"!!!!

I am more determined than ever to just love on God, trust Him, worship Him and fear Him. In doing that I have taken my hands, my plans, my efforts out of the mix and allow HIM to expand my life.

So if you are tired, your struggling, you've worked for years and your not where you thought you would be or seeing the results you need why don't you join me in this prayer today. I promise if do this you will feel the weight of the world lift off your shoulders today.

"Daddy God, I have tried, I've stressed, I've worked....and I have not reached my full potential. I make a decision today to lay down my ambitions, my hopes, my desires, MY WILL at your feet today. I make it my goal from this point forward to simply fear You! I will worship, love and obey you. I will maintain intimacy with you at all cost. And according to Your Word as I do this you will take my life and expand me, enlarge me, use me for your glory and honor. I will enjoy the journey. In Jesus name I pray....AMEN!"

You Are Recognized!

Matthew 8:28 - "And when He (Jesus) arrived at the other side in the country of the Gadarenes, two men under the control of demons went to meet Him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce and savage that no one was able to pass that way."

As I read this yesterday it hit me...we have all heard the saying, "New level; new devils" and here it is in action. Jesus "arrived at the other side" and what happens, the demons came out to meet Him!

As an ambassador of the King when you enter a new place evil will RECOGNIZE you. The Bible says that the evil was so intimidating that no one could pass by. When you are a threat to the kingdom of darkness YOU WILL ENCOUNTER OPPOSITION! You have to study your word and invest time in learning who you are and the arsenal you have at your disposal. Don't coward down or become intimidated like the children of Israel. When the twelve spies were sent out in Numbers 13 they automatically became intimidated at what they SAW! Here they are, the chosen people of God, with a promise from God and they let their fear dictate their emotions and feelings and they became like grasshoppers! You need to understand that though you will be RECOGNIZED in the spirit realm you should not be intimidated by it. You have everything you need already inside of you to WIN! God defeated the enemy for you then gave you His weapons, His name, His authority, His peace, His power and His word as your road map to navigate your way!

So do not be surprised as you are pushing through, gaining new territory and taking new levels if the demons show up! It even happened to Jesus! Smile and know you are on the right track!

Your Steps Are Ordered

Here is a thought for you...If our steps are ordered by God why are we trying to take the elevator?

So many times we are trying to find the quick fix, the fast way around. We want to avoid the time, sweat, blisters and tears involved in taking the stairs! But hear me today taking a quick ride to the top is usually followed by a quick ride back down to the bottom.

This is seen in every aspect of life. We have all heard about people broke and in financial ruins win the lottery, only to find them five years later back in the same mess or even worse off financially then they were. And what about fad diets? We hear about people that only drink shakes or eat cabbage for weeks and drop 50lbs. But the minute they try to eat anything normal they gain back that 50...plus 20 more! We've seen men and women with great charisma smile and schmooze their way to the top but they did not have the character it took to keep them there and they fall....and fall hard. There are no short cuts or elevators in life. To reach your goal and fulfill your destiny it will require determination, grit and focus.

My desire is to spend as much time in this journey to the top getting to know more of Him and gaining revelation and building character so I can enjoy the place that God is taking me! There is something to be said for hard work. It is not easy, I have shed some tears....a lot of them in fact. I have had my share of blisters and heartache. I have even had to sweat and loose some stuff and gain some stuff to make me who I am today. But I am determined I will let Him daily order my steps!

Hebrews 12:1-2a "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith..."

It is a run of endurance, not a quick ride on the elevator!!

So it is time for a gut check...WHAT ARE YOU a "feeler" or a "believer"? Do you simply profess to believe and yet only live by what you feel? The fact is you must decide to believe despite what you feel. Feelings will lie to you because your feelings are based on the soulish realm and not the spirit realm.

Understand you are in this world but not of this world. As Christians, we are apart of a Kingdom much bigger than our little world around us. We must keep our focus on the realm of the unseen in order to bring change needed in the realm of the seen. It will NOT ever work the other way around. The more you focus on this earth realm the more your feelings get sucked into this vortex of stress, worry and depression. Remember according to 2 Corinthians 5:7 we are called to "walk by faith, not by sight"! According to Ephesians 6 having done everything to stand...STAND FIRM realizing that your struggle is not with flesh and blood (the natural realm) but with the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (the spirit realm). When the enemy uses circumstances in the natural realm to get your focus off the Kingdom it allows him to the opportunity to gain ground! What has the enemy been bringing at you just to get your focus off the big picture? Don't let the sneak attack work! STAND UP, GET YOUR FOCUS BACK, tell your feelings to take a back seat to what you know and believe to be true!!

Say this prayer with me now;
"Lord today I will be keenly aware of the spirit realm that is more real than this natural realm I see. I make a decision now that my feelings will not dictate what I say, where I go or what I do. I am a believer and Your word makes it clear that you are My Father, I am the apple of your eye and I am loved by you. So today I walk in the peace and confidence of knowing I am a child of the King and the favor and benefits that it brings are mine to walk in. I will not doubt, but stand firm in faith. Today is a day of turn around! AMEN"

Exercise Your Faith

Romans 12:3 says, "...God hath dealt to every man THE measure of faith"

As most of you know this past year I have been on a mission to improve my health. After an emergency appendectomy surgery last year I was told that my blood work was not good. My sugar was high, my cholesterol was high, I was obese and in all around poor health. I knew what God had promised me was going to take stamina, strength and longevity to see it come to pass. And there is still MUCH I have left to do for the Kingdom! In order to do it all, and do it with excellence, I knew I had to make some changes. I have since lost almost 70lbs and have reached the goal weight set by my doctor. I workout on a regular basis and now can honestly say I really enjoy the way I look and feel!

Tuesday night of this week I was doing some weight lifting and watching as the muscles in my arm would work to lift the weight and I heard the Holy Spirit say...."Your faith increases the same way"! Faith is just like muscles, we were all given a measure of muscles when we were born. Some people have learned to exercise, stretch and use their muscles more than others and that is why theirs grow bigger and stronger. The more you use your muscles the stronger you become, likewise the more you use your faith the stronger it becomes. Since, we have all been given the same measure, the problem isn't the amount it is the application. How much are you applying your faith, how much are you exercising your faith?

When I hear someone say, "I just don't have faith, Pastor" I have to correct them because our faith is sufficient. It's our minds that don't know what we have that gives us the problem. If you are operating in your flesh, your mind and emotions will cause you to fight a battle in the natural that you were intended to fight in the spiritual...through faith. Every time you open your Word and read your faith grows, when you make your daily declarations you are watching your faith muscle work. Then you can start applying your faith when you aren't feeling well and you confess that by His stripes you are healed. Or when the financial situation is tighter than normal and you decree that He is Jehovah Jireh your provider and His provision will be seen in your life.

I firmly believe we are all walking through situations in our lives right now that's requiring a great deal of faith. The question is are you going to grow weak, weary, puny and depressed with worry or are you going to exercise faith and come out looking...and feeling...like like a muscle bound Kingdom Warrior?!

Easter Wrap Up

We had a simply amazing Easter at the Winners Church! Our attendance was record breaking and we had SIX lives dedicated to HIM! PRAISE GOD! Our kids gave us a great performance and Tinesha Davis ushered in the presence of God with an amazing dance! After service we had an Easter Egg hunt, food, games, cotton candy, a bounce house, food (did I say FOOD), an Easter Bunny and much much more! Enjoy some pictures of our day!

A Day In The Life of Me

Lately I have had a few of you ask I how get it all in and do what I do. So just for fun, for the inquiring minds, here is an example of a typical day for me....(this is actually my day today)

5:30 am - alarm goes off, pray and meditate and make some declarations over myself

6:00-7:00 - get the kids off to school and get myself ready for work.

7:00-7:30 - Breakfast and read my Word

8:00 - 1:00 - Work at the Staffing Service (TeamTemps)

1:00-2:00 - Business lunch to discuss up-coming Women's Conference and Easter events....(also scored some coupons for our vendor bag from Chili's :o)

2:00-5:00 - Work, write blog ;)

5:00-7:00 - Run errands to Home Depot and Walmart for last minute supplies for Easter Event and Women's Conference, Make a few business calls for Premier, go home change and go for a quick 2mile run!

7:00-9:00 - Church, after church meet with key leadership to ensure things run smoothly tomorrow night

9-:00-10:00 - feed my family (Don't judge I know it's late, but they will be at church from 5-7 for drama practice :o) and get them to bed!

10:00- shower and study for message tomorrow night...catch up on FB ;o) and go to BED eventually!

Tomorrow it will start all over......

Wait or Weight?

"Yet those who WAIT for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary." Isaiah 40:31

I hear the Holy Spirit saying you can WAIT on Him or you can carry the WEIGHT of the world on your shoulders. In this life there are always cares and concerns. In fact, He told us there would be that is why he said "CAST YOU CARE ON ME". The problem lies in the fact that we wait at the door of worry, anxiety, doubt, fear and stress. Instead of waiting in His presence and casting our cares on Him. Today if you are struggling read this 'paraphrased version' of the familiar passage in Matthew 6 again....I hope it will bless you.

Do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat or drink...or how your going to pay your bills, or what is going to happen to that wayward child, or how your going to buy clothes...and put gas in your car. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds they do not sow nor reap or gather into barns yet your daddy God feeds them....and you are worth much more than birds!! And by worrying which of you can add a single minute to your life. And again for those who are anxious look at the lilies of the field grow. They do not toil nor spin yet Solomon in all his glory did not clothe himself like one of these. But if God can arrange the grass of the field which is alive today and gone tomorrow...will He not much more do for you? You of little faith! Do not be anxious...doubt, worry or fear by saying what shall we eat, what shall we drink, what shall we wear....how are we going to make it through this.....For your daddy God already knows what you need before you need it....NOW Seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (WAIT ON HIM) and all these things will be added and done for you! STOP WORRYING!

Some days you just know you should have on your Armor.

Read Ephesians 6:10-18.

If you have been under attack in an area of your life (or EVERY AREA!) then get focused. Realize you are in a battle and the only way to become a skillful warrior is to get skilled in battle. We must move from our defensive position to an offensive one in the Spirit. One of the best ways to start is deliberately ingesting God's Word!!

John 8:31-32 "CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall KNOW THE TRUTH and the truth shall make you FREE!"

So, it is when we continue in the Word that we shall know the truth about our situation that brings freedom out of it! Praise God!! That is good stuff. If we need revelation that brings freedom.....the answer is the Word! Even Jesus when He was under an attack of the enemy, while fasting in Matthew 4, did warfare with the Word. He led by example and we should follow His lead.

Today, you need to take up your sword!

Future Dweller

Winners talk faith because their focus is on the finished results!!

I am a future dweller! I am so excited about what I see in the future! I am talking BIG things. I am seeing BIG things. I am walking out BIG things. You say, Pastor look around things aren't all that BIG yet. Well there' s the problem you are looking around from where you are!! My focus is not on where I am, my focus is on where I am going.

As you know my husband Billy and I love to ride our motorcycle. I have heard from God so clearly on that bike it is one of my favorite places to pray. We've learned a lot over the years things you should and should not do while on a bike. One important lesson came during a motorcycle driver safety course. They teach you to look straight ahead, down the road, where you want to go. They tell you that if you see a pot hole in the road and you are looking at the pot hole because your scared your going to hit it....you will. But if you will just keep your eyes ahead of the pot hole you will make it to the other side. That speaks volumes about our spiritual lives too! Stop looking at the thing you are trying to avoid and look out past your present condition and become a future dweller!

It's been said if you don't know where you are going....your sure to get there. Where is your focus? Where are your eyes fixed? Are you talking about the nasty now and now or are you talking about your hope, your future and your final outcome?

Make a decision today to be a FUTURE DWELLER!

What is your Vision?

Vision is a picture of your future that produces passion in you

Can I tell you that I have a BIG vision and that is why I am SO passionate. People ask me all the time how I do all that I do. The truth is I have a vision and that vision produces passion and that passion drives and motivates me to keep pushing, going, preaching, giving, interceding, prophesying, loving, learning and growing.

The Bible tells us where there is no vision people perish. Why? Because if you are only dwelling on the NOW...the way thinks look NOW, the way things are NOW, the way you feel NOW; you will have no hope or passion in you. In fact, you will feel rather HOPELESS!!! A winning life IN CHRIST is a life that is based on more than natural, current situations it is based on a hope and a future and a VISION.

Habakkuk tells us that we need to write the vision and make it plain. Can I encourage you today to write your vision? Start simple. What is your vision for your health, what is your vision for your children, what is your vision for your career and finances, what is your vision for your church? Once you have these individual visions written out you can compile a larger "life vision" that can include them all. Having your vision written is a critical key to being successful; for in times of adversity and in the midst of the storm hope and passion will see you through if you put your vision in front of you!

So, what's your vision?

Happy Birthday Augustine

Today my "baby" turns 11 years old. Once again, I must say I can't believe how quickly time flies. I remember when my kids were still in diapers and had me up all hours of the night being told to relax and enjoy the journey because I would blink and they would be gone. Boy, I did not fully understand that statement at the time.

Well Augustine is not gone....YET, but he is turning 11 and starting middle school next year...YIKES!

For anyone that knows Augustine you know he is not a typical young boy, he is very much like his daddy. He takes every thing very serious, likes to win, and loves deeply. He is much older than his age tells and yet he still has that fun sparkle in his eye when he sees a mud puddle or gets a new toy! I love the young man that he is and the man that I know he is growing up to be. I am a BLESSED woman to be surrounded by such great men!

I love you Augustine!

Love Notes from God

Jeremiah 9:23-24a "Thus says the Lord, 'Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let them who boasts boast of this, that he UNDERSTANDS AND KNOWS ME'"!!

Words cannot express how wonderful it is to live life on a mission to Understand and Know HIM!! I love that He gives us the ability to do just that. You see He is not a God who is unreachable or untouchable. He is a God who loves us and everything He does is motivated by that love. He desires us but He also desires to be sought after!

In the natural when we fall in love here on this earth the emotions and feelings can almost seem overwhelming at times. When love hits us we can't stop thinking about that person, we long to be with them. Well the same is true in our love relationship with the Creator. He loves you, He can't stop thinking about you. He wants to be understood, known, loved and found by you. Listen to some of the other love notes He has sent to you....(paraphrased)

Duet 6:5 - "Love me with all you heart, soul and strength"

Duet 4:29 - "Seek me and look for me with all your heart and you will find me."

Matthew 7:7 - "ask me anything and I will give it to you, seek me and you will find me, knock on my door and I will open it for you"

John 3:16 - "I love you so much, I sent my son to die for you, so you can live forever in eternity with me"

Jeremiah 29:13 - "If you look for me wholeheartedly you will find me"

Ephesians 2:4 "my love for you is GREAT"

Jeremiah 24:7 - "I will give you a heart to know me, I will be yours and you will be mine"

1 John 3:1 "I lavish my love on you, I call you my own

...there are so many more found in the Word. In fact, the entire Bible is a detailed love note of all that He has done for you and all that He is going to do for you!!! However, you must take the time to read the notes. The verse I opened with in Jeremiah warns you not to only get wisdom and riches....but get to KNOW Him. And the best part of all.....He is such a loving God that when you get to KNOW Him, you will know that YOU ARE LOVED LAVISHLY!!!!

Will Power or Spirit Power?

This Saturday I have the privilege of conducting another Life Coaching Seminar. These are a group of women who are hungry for God and hungry for balance and wholeness in every area of their lives. So much so that they signed a contract of responsibility for One Year. This year we are studying a book called "Look Great Feel Great - 12 Keys to Enjoying a Healthy Life Now" by Joyce Meyer. The ladies have been SO blessed by this book. They have each begin to journal and share what God is doing in their life. I asked each of them what has been there favorite part so far (now keep in mind they are only on Chapter 3) but there was an overwhelming consensus and one of the most talked about parts is a discussion on Willpower vs Spirit Power.

Joyce says it this way, "Willpower is your best friend when things go well but it's the first friend to check out when you get weary."

You know what it's like you decide that you are going to get up one hour early and pray before work but the night before the baby had you up till 2. Or you decided you are going to go for a run before bed but by the time you get dinner and dishes done you just want to find the couch. How many of you know in those moments your best friend Willpower has left the building! LOL

God said when I leave I will send you a helper....the Holy Spirit....You will Lead you and Guide You, and Teach you, and Encourage You, and Strengthen You.

Zechariah 4:6 tells us "Not by might not by power but by My Spirit says the Lord of Hosts."

And John 15:5 says "Apart from Me you can do nothing"

Joyce then goes on to describe the process, "God releases His power into your willpower and energizes it to bring you across the finish line."

We need to understand that willpower is only a part of our process but to be complete and whole in every area of our life we are going to have to be SPIRIT POWERED!

Pray, Love, Give

This Sunday at The Winners Church we finished up the last sermon in a series we started in January. Back in November my husband, Billy, really felt led of God to target the first three months of the year with a campaign called PRAY, LOVE, GIVE. We took each month and studied the word. January we really focused on prayer. Februaury, of course, was the love month and March has been all about giving. I am excited to tell you that our church as seen the benefits of this series. Something powerful happens in the life of a believer when you begin to pray, understand how much you are loved and how to love others and then give! Give out of all you are and all you have! One thing I want you to catch, all three of these words are VERBS! In fact, all through scripture you will see Jesus doing the verbs and teaching us to do the verbs!! Being a Christian is not about titles, places, positions, belongings....it's not about the nouns. Being a Christian is about the verbs! Go, teach, deliver, set free, love, pray, give, heal!! In fact, Matthew says it this way SEEK first the Kingdom of God and all the THINGS will be added. Did you catch that? Do the verb and the nouns will follow! So, my challenge to you today as we are finishing up this series is simple.....DO THE VERBS!

Happy Birthday Caleb

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Caleb, Happy Birthday to you!

Today my oldest son Caleb turns 18! I can't believe that it was 18 years ago today that I had my first baby. He literally changed my life. Words cannot express the wonder and power of the love a mother has for her children.

Today, as I celebrate his birth I am also celebrating the man that he is desinted to be. As he steps into manhood, I am agreeing according to Jeremiah the prophet 'For I know the plans that I have for you, decalres the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.'

Caleb is passionate, funny, keenly aware of the Spirit, and loving. He never meets a stranger and has a way of making anyone and everyone feel loved and accepted. I can honestly say that his smile still lights up my life! I am honored that God chose me to birth this young man and I am telling you now......take note and mark my words.......one day when Caleb steps into the fullness of his destiny the Kingdom of Darkness will shutter in fear...for this child, man of God, was born to terrorize darkness!!

SHARE THE GLORY!!

The Message Bible says this: "God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know
this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background,
regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s
glory. It’s that simple. That is the substance of our Message."
Colossians 1:27

We are supposed to be sharing in God's Glory! The Amplified version says "Christ is within and among you, the Hope of realizing the Glory!" This verse tells us 'in a nutshell' that part of understanding the mysteries of the Kingdom is:

1. Don't disqualify yourself based on your background, your upbringing, your
bank account or the color of your skin. One thing I love about the Kingdom is
that it is about EVERYONE. God wants everyone to share the Glory!

2. There are mysteries of the Kingdom hidden for you' not from you. And this
verse is letting us know that the key to unlock those mysteries is understanding
that CHRIST is IN YOU! You must realize that you are not just living this life
alone...you are a transporter of the Holy Spirit. And by transporting and
carrying around His spirit you will be 'sharing in the Glory!!

So what really is the Glory that we get to share and hope in? The Hebrew word for “Glory” is Kabod; it basically means weight. In science it would be the mass of an object of matter. It is the presence or substance of a person or thing. For God, it is who He is, His character and power. We know that God is love according to 1John 4:16; love is God’s character and power. So, we get to share in all that He is...His greatness, goodness, character, power and LOVE! Not only is the Glory for us to experience and enjoy it is there for us to share! Everywhere we go we are to show the world His presence, His power, His character and His LOVE!

LEADERS PLEASE READ!

Mark 5:35-39

35On that same day [when] evening had come, He said to them, Let us go over to the other side [of the lake]. 36And leaving the throng, they took Him with them, [just] as He was, in the boat [in which He was sitting]. And other boats were with Him. 37And a furious storm of wind [of hurricane proportions] arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so that it was already becoming filled. 38But He [Himself] was in the stern [of the boat], asleep on the [leather] cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, Master, do You not care that we are perishing? 39And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness). 40He said to them, Why are you so timid and fearful? How is it that you have no faith (no firmly relying trust)?

I love this passage of scripture! I go back to it and read it often because it speaks volumes to me about my life and ministry.

Jesus had just finished an amazing day of ministry. He had preached to a "throng" of people, the amplified says "a very great crowd". He preached that day on such parables as the Sower and the Seed, Light Under a Basket, and the Mustard Seed! Some of the classics! It was a GREAT day of ministry.....hundreds, maybe even thousands were there as He poured out a Rhema word to the people then when He was finished...He was tired. I love the fact that we see Jesus also needed to balance ministry and rest. This is the first key I want you to draw from this passage. #1 We as ministers have to learn to keep balance in our lives!! I could talk about this for days because the truth is, if you are in ministry you know that we have a tendency to give and pour out until there is nothing left. But by doing this we set ourselves up for serious problems...mentally, physically and spiritually. We must be strong and alert...both of those require us to be rested. Balance is a key that God has been dealing with me about so much this year. We really need to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit about helping us balance all the responsibilities that we carry.

Next, He said to the disciples "let us go over to the other side of the lake". He then went to sleep and a hurricane force storm came. Here is key #2 Storms will follow even the best, most powerful, times of ministry. In fact, I can tell you some of the most powerful ministry events of my life have been followed by a genuine head on attack from hell. The enemy does not like when the Kingdom is advanced. But we can learn from Jesus. The storm did not bother Him in the least. In fact, the storm NEVER EVEN WOKE HIM! I am striving to get to the place in my life where storms don't even cause me to wake! What woke Him was the screaming and crying of the disciples. Why was He not worried? #3 Because He had already spoken that they were going to the other side! There is power in our words. When Jesus said we're going to the other side He never once had a doubt that He was going to make it to the other side. Storm or no storm....His words declared His outcome. He said it, therefore it would happen. What you speak into the atmosphere of your life will come to pass. Storm or no storm....you ARE going to the other side!

Lastly, I want you to see something important from the disciples stand point. When they were going through a season of testing, when they were going through the storm, they did something important. Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

Sometimes we just need a reminder. There are things in our lives that we are yet to see in the natural but somehow through the eyes of the Spirit God has allowed us to see it. A picture of your future. I call them prophetic commercials. Things you have not seen yet in the natural but in your meditation time you can "see" it as if it already were.

I have several of those prophetic commercials in my life.....I see my ministry at an even greater level than it is....I am BELIEVING for the BIG! I see The Winners Church in multiple services, a larger building, touching thousands of lives each week. I see myself debt free and being able to finance worthy Kingdom causes. I see all three of my boys living LOUD for God fulfilling the destiny that is on their lives in ministry with their family.

Today I am making a declaration...."I am SURE of what I hope for and certain of what I do not see!"

I must say the services at The Winners Church are simply amazing! Now, that's not just me talking, I have heard from so many people that our services are reaching a "whole 'nother level"... especially in our praise and worship!

My husband and I have always LOVED praise and worship. We believe praise and worship should be wildly passionate and deeply intense all at the same time. We have been blessed to worship with some of the most amazing praise and worship leaders of our time. However, at this time we do not have a praise and worship leader or live band. We have iPod worship! Pastor Billy leads and we have a praise team that backs him up. For those who are die hard praise and worship people the thought of worship not being LIVE seems impossible but I will tell you it is NOT. We have had some of the most intense moments in His presence all while the iPod is playing and we are singing and dancing with all our might. {That said, I KNOW God is going to send us the most AMAZING praise and worship leader and band in due time and they will be MORE than we anticipated!!}

This past Sunday we had a big build up for "moving forward" we talked about unity and decided not to move our clocks ahead until the end of service and we would MOVE FORWARD together in UNITY. That atmosphere was then set....unity, moving forward, worship WOW what a day. During our praise and worship God spoke a powerful word to us about the Key.

This week no matter what you are going through God said that there will be a KEY hidden in your worship! The answer is found in your worship! There is a KEY that you need to unlock a situation in your life.....the KEY is FOUND in your worship. If you need a financial door opened this week, a door of healing, a door of restoration, a door of hope....what ever door you are facing THE KEY IS HIDDEN IN YOUR WORSHIP!! Don't waste another minute begin to worship Him today...go get your KEY!!

Believe AND Receive

This has been stirring in my Spirit so much lately. As a Pastor and Counselor I have people who sit in my congregation week after week and hear the Word. Then when circumstances arise that cause them to actually put the Word into action and step out on faith they get stuck. Then they are in my office saying something like this...."Pastor I have tried, I've asked God - in fact I've begged God for it and I believe that He can do it but nothing has happened! What do I do now?" Over and over again the story is the same. Can I tell you what I've learned. Many of us are comfortable with the idea of asking God to help and many of us believe that He is capable of anything but few of us can actually receive what He has for us.

Can I just really mess up some theology now. You have to do more than believe, you must receive!! The problem so many have is understanding that you are WORTHY to receive from God. You believe He is capable of a miracle but your not worthy of one.

The Word tells us that we are the righteous of God. We have been bought with a price. We are seated at the right hand of the Father. We are kings and priests on this earth. Here is good news...God's grace is not based on how well you perform, how perfect you are or what your past was like! If God was willing to give you His very Son as a ransom for your soul. If He has already saved you from eternal damnation, gave you His name and reserved a place in Heaven for you...Don't you think he can handle the car payment? Don't you think He can heal your marriage? Don't you think He can give you increase in your finances even in this economy or save that rebellious teenager?

The issue is not rather you believe....but will you RECEIVE? He has given you power, dominion and authority you must stop believing the lies of the enemy. You know the lies, "you got yourself into this mess, you deserve this, you allowed it to happen to you, your not worthy, your not capable".

It is time that you walk in the fullness of life that God intended you to have...BELIEVE AND RECEIVE!

One of the things that you may not know about me but you will learn as you follow my blog is I love quotes. Here is one that I read recently that a friend, Pastor Craig Sloan, posted on his FaceBook profile.

"Royalty is my Identity, Servanthood is my assignment and Intimacy with God is my life source"
We must begin to understand theses three components ....Identity, Assignment, Intimacy. You can't have one without the other. Just like baking a cake, if you leave out the sugar that cake does not taste right, if you leave out the flour or the butter that cake is just not worth eating. If you try to fulfill your assignment with out first knowing your identity and having intimacy with God you will not succeed. Not only will you be unsuccessful but you will feel the pressure of trying to MAKE something happen when in fact you should simply be walking in what God has already done for you and assigned to you!

The older I get the more I am certain of ONE THING and only one thing ;0) Intimacy with God is my life source.

I love this quote because I am a firm believer that we've got to understand who we are. I see to many Christians playing church. There is a country club mentality...people go to church on Sunday mornings because it's the socially accepted thing to do. They want to 'keep up with the Jones' so that includes religious attendance without relationship. They are just 'copying' what they see other's do, all for the sake of appearances. They are void of power because they are lacking identity.

Then there are some "minsters" trying to be like "Pastor so-n-so". They try to dress like, talk like, look like somebody they saw on T.V. There is nothing wrong with having mentors in your life, in fact you need them. But let me say this...You will never walk into the fullness of your potential until you realize just that....it's YOUR potential. The more time we waste trying to be like someone else the less time we have on this earth to be our authentic selves and do what WE were sent here to do.

Let me encourage you today, WE NEED YOU! The fact that you
are still on this earth is proof that you have something left to accomplish. God
designed you with your personality, your thoughts, your looks, your gifts.
Trying to be like someone else, no matter how great they are, will only limit
your potential, not make you successful!

It is time to be the AUTHENTIC YOU!!!

Running

I have a new love in life....it is running. If you would have told me a few years ago that I would call myself a runner I would have laughed...and laughed....and laughed at you!!! I was never the athletic type, in fact, growing up I could run my fastest and my brother, Chad, could skip and beat me to the finish line! It used to irritate me to no end. I knew early own my calling did not involve speed or coordination for sports. :)

Yesterday I was able to get out and enjoy a run. I ran a 3.25 miles. We live in a wonderful neighborhood and I put in my headphones and begin to run...and pray. I have found that although I don't get excited about the idea of running once I get out there....I love it! S0, as I was running, I was spending some much needed time alone with God and as always He spoke something so clear to me, He said.....

"If you make time for My presence My presence will make
time for you".

I have always made a point of spending time in His presence but can I tell you that the busier your life is and the more responsibilities you add to your plate you cannot shorten your time in His presence you must INCREASE it. In the natural this does not make sense. I own my own business, work an 8-5 in Human Resources as a Job Coach and Recruiter, Co-Pastor a church, have three amazing sons to raise, have the awesome responsibility of being a wife to one of the greatest men I know, Life coaching, ministry opportunities etc. My time is critical and the thought of adding MORE to any of it, including time in His presence, frankly seems impossible. However, Kingdom principles are different than natural principles. In the Kingdom you give, so more will be given. In the natural you hoard up what you've got because you don't know when you'll get more. In the Kingdom if you want to go up, you go down; you serve if you want to lead. In the natural, you step on anybody you can just to get to the top. In the Kingdom we as tithers live more abundantly on 90% than 100%. In the natural this is not logical therefore makes no sense. But I am a firm believer that Kingdom Principles when applied to your life will help you succeed in life, ministry, family, finances, career and every area. So when God says, "make time for my presence and my presence will make time for you". My ears perk up because one thing I need to manage to the fullest in my life is my time.

If you are experiencing a season in life that you need more of something, more time, more money, more peace, more joy......make time for His presence and let His presence make more for you!!

I don't know if you remember this toy or not, it was called "Stretch Armstrong". My boys had this toy growing up and they would pull on his arms and legs until it looked like he was going to snap.

Well , lately I have felt like this Stretch Armstrong looks. I have been pulled in so many different directions that I have wondered if I might snap. LOL! Based on my counseling and coaching sessions the last few months I can say that MANY people are feeling stretched in this season of life. But last night during our worship service I heard the Holy Spirit say He has to stretch us in order for us to be able to contain what He has for us.

If you have been asking God for more...then prepare to be stretched because He desires to give us MORE. The Bible says He wants to do EXCEEDINGLY, ABUNDANTLY, ABOVE ALL we can ask or think! Those are BIG words that require a BIG womb and you never give birth without stretching!

Stop cursing the stretching and allow God to increase your elasticity so you can GROW INTO YOUR FUTURE!

As most of you know I have a jewelry business and one of the sets in the jewelry line is called EMPOWERED. On the advertisement I was mailing out to a future hostess it said, "Get Empowered" and as I read it my Spirit jumped inside of me!! It is time that we as Christians understand that we have been weak, wimpy and whiny TO LONG! I want to see us understand our source of POWER so we can BE EMPOWERED!

1 Corinthians 4:20 says "For the Kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power" If we are truly part of the Kingdom we have to be more than words!! We must have POWER! The Creator of the universe, the one who spoke it all into existence has taken up residence inside of us. How then can you say we don't have power? The one who spit in mud and made the blind man see....He is in you! The one who said "Peace be still" and the winds and waves ceased....He is inside of you! The one who fasted 40 days and 40 nights and overcame the devil....He is inside of you!!

The fact is we should be so EMPOWERED with Him that everywhere we go things are different. Every place we enter light comes in, every person we come in contact with is changed, every sickness is healed, depression is lifted! I learned something interesting. Did you know that the Muslim world believes that Jesus was a great teacher that lived and died but the difference in their religion and ours is they believe He was never resurrected. If there were demonstrations of the power of God in the form of resurrections {yes, I mean you and I laying hands on the dead and seeing them live again!!} the Muslim world would take notice and we could turn our planet upside down for the Kingdom of God! Think I am crazy or extreme if you want but according to my Bible the POWER source that is in us should EMPOWER us to even greater works than Jesus did while He was on this earth so why not raise the dead....He did!!

The good news is if we don't have that kind of power in our lives right now there is an answer. Isaiah 40:29 says "He gives strength to the weary and to him who lacks might HE INCREASES POWER". Begin to ask Him for an increase in POWER. Begin to seek the POWER source. The Bible tells us if we ask believing we shall have what we say. So what are you waiting for....GET EMPOWERED!!

On this 21^st day I want to do a “high-light” of some of the key words of wisdom we have learned during our time together.

· We started off with Alignment -

“To arrange in a straight line; to bring into cooperation or agreement with a particular group or cause; to adjust to improve the response, to adhere to a prescribed course of action; to move or be adjusted into proper relationship”

Proper Alignment is going to allow me improved hearing and seeing and therefore response in my relationship with God. Alignment is going to bring focus to my prescribed course of action this year and keep me in proper relationship with Him so that I can be the vessel that He is able to work through on this earth to advance His Kingdom and levels far beyond my wildest hopes and dreams.

· I see Big in 2010

In 2010 we are going to see BIG! We are going to see further in the realm of the supernatural. I believe that God is going to increase the level of revelation in 2010. We are going to tap into a realm of the heavenlies and unlock some things that we have not seen before. We are going to ascend into the spiritual realm and see things we've never saw and bring them back to the natural real.

· Let’s not lower our expectations according to our own understanding, or to guard against disappointment. Instead, let’s believe Jesus when He said, “All things are possible to him who believes” (Mk 9:23).

· That big vision God is giving you in 2010 doesn't have to match where you are right now for it to be true or come to pass. Your faith is the key that unlocks your future and brings it into your right now! You have to grab hold of it! Hope for it, dream about it, talk about it, plan for it. Take a few minutes every day and visualize it!

· This year.....The prophetic eye is going to have greater vision! I believe God is going to show us deep things that will cause us to need greater faith because it is BIG! I hear God saying POSITION YOURSELF TO SEE AND BE SEEN!

· We have to get mouth to mouth with God. He wants to infuse us with power, ignite us with fire, and fill us with His words. Not just words that sound good but words that will scream with REVELATION. God does not just want to partially fill you, He wants to possess you and put you on like a coat and walk this earth preaching, prophesying, laying hands on the sick, decreeing and declaring through you so that His Kingdom will be advanced with force this year! Time is speeding up....there are no more delays. It is time to BE!

· If you need answers you need LIGHT…..You need revelation!

· Praise truly is a weapon you can use to "still" your enemy!

· You have free access to God…….But you only have as much access to Him as you have faith to believe you can! Ask God today for supernatural, radical faith that grants you access to all of heaven!

· God is looking for people that will make it possible for Him to move into the restrictions of time and space so He can do something spectacular and show the world His glory!

· The word can only work when it has a voice to manifest it!!!

· Every believer has the right to see and enter the Kingdom of God while here on earth!! Enter in, preach Kingdom, live in Kingdom, TAKE THE KINGDOM AND POSSESS IT!

As you have journeyed with me during this 21 Day Fast. I have enjoyed all of your texts and emails and letters. Thank you SO much for your kind words, support and confirmation. I honestly was amazed at the goodness of God and how he chose a simple blog to reach so many.

Jesus never preached “Jesus” he preached Kingdom. Why then do we spend so much time teaching everything else under the sun? And I will tell you this too……there are a lot of people that say they are Kingdom minded but have not made the King their priority!

Other people have this futuristic view of Kingdom. They think Kingdom is “heaven” and they hope they make it into the Kingdom. The Kingdom is not something we have to wait on or hope to make it into. Daniel 7:18 says “The saints of the Most High God shall receive the Kingdom and possess the Kingdom forever, even forever and ever.” I like another translation that says “The saints of the Most High God shall TAKE the Kingdom and possess it.” It is time that you take hold of the Kingdom of God and live according to that Kingdom. We are not of the Kingdom of darkness….so why do we base our outcome and circumstances and thoughts on a Kingdom that is the polar opposite of our inheritance. When Jesus was asked when the Kingdom of God would come in Luke 17 he said….”the Kingdom of God is within you {in your hearts} and among you {surrounding you).”

Here is the thought for today……every believer has the right to see and enter the Kingdom of God while here on earth!! Enter in, preach Kingdom, live in Kingdom, TAKE THE KINGDOM AND POSSESS IT!

“There is ONE body and ONE Spirit just as there is also ONE hope that belongs to the calling you received – There is ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism, ONE God and Father of us all, who is {above all Sovereign} over all, pervading all and living in us all.” Ephesians 4:4-6

And David said, “ONE thing I have asked of the Lord, that will I seek and inquire for, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord {in His presence} all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty {the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness} of the Lord and to meditate, consider and inquire in His temple”. Psalm 27:4

There is power in ONE because ONE brings focus. Today you need to focus as David did…”Lord this ONE thing”. Later in the New Testament the Bible also says if you seek this ONE thing…..the Kingdom……all the other things will be added to you. So today instead of seeking finances, deliverance, a new house, a mate, a new opportunity, TODAY just focus on ONE thing….”the sweet attractiveness and delightful loveliness of the Lord!”

This could very well be Part 2 of yesterday's blog because the Lord keeps talking to me about being a Prophetic Voice for this generation!! He keeps saying to me it is time to Believe for the impossible!!

Then I began reading in Judges 15 about Samson. When his situation looked impossible.....his own people bound him to deliver him over to their enemies. God provided a way out!! You may be in a situation where you feel bound with no way of escape. The very people that are supposed to be there for you have walked out. You feel alone and you have nothing to do but trust God. If that is you....then look out because that is a set up for your step up! God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Look at vs 14 in the midst of being bound

...."The Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon Samson, and the ropes on his arms
became as flax that had caught fire and his bonds melted off his hands. vs 15
And he found a still moist jaw-bone of a donkey and reached out and took it and
slew 1,000 men with it. vs 16 and Sampson SAID, "With the jawbone of a
donkey, heaps upon heaps with the jawbone of a donkey I have slain over 1,000
men". vs 17 And WHEN HE STOPPED SPEAKING he cast the jawbone from his hand..."

Here is what God said....WHEN YOU STOP SPEAKING YOUR BATTLE IS OVER!!!! Just like David ran at the giant with his mouth open. You must run at your enemy, your circumstances with your mouth open. As long as you are SAYING what you see you will win. WHEN YOU STOP TALKING it's all over!

Believe for the Impossible and SPEAK IT FORTH TODAY!

When God created man He did so by breath and word. Genesis 2:7 says, "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed unto his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." But He SPOKE our purpose to us Genesis 1:28 "Be fruitful and multiply..fill the earth and subdue it...and have dominion". God did not intend us to just be living beings with out a purpose as soon as we were formed He began to speak purpose to us!! And His words have creative power in them. His words give us passion to pursue the

promise!

Likewise, you were made in your Father's image. He teaches by example. So He wants you to know that the words of your mouth have creative power! I know you have heard that before but really stop and think about it today!! There is always creative power associated with the spoken word. In fact.....I believe the word can only work when it has a voice to manifest the word. Think about it.....if the Bible all by itself, leather, paper, ink.....could bring life, healing, deliverance and freedom all by itself the world would already be a perfect place because the Bible has been around a LONG time. But the word can only work when it has a voice to manifest it!!!

What are you saying today? Are you lending God your voice to advance His Kingdom and speak purpose to everything around you?

John 17:22 –Jesus is talking to God and says, “ I have given them the glory that you gave me”

I believe if you are sensitive to the spirit you will hear a call going out to press in and possess a new dimension of the Kingdom and display His glory on the earth like never before.

The definition of Dimension is - a new level of existence or reality

Listen there are levels and dimensions of the Spirit that we have yet to tap into!!! God is looking for people that will make it possible for Him to move into the restrictions of time and space so He can do something spectacular and show the world His glory! Look at Judges 14:1-4

1 Now Samson went down to Timnah, and saw a woman in Timnah of the daughters of the Philistines. 2 So he went up and told his father and mother, saying, “I have seen a woman in Timnah of the daughters of the Philistines; now therefore, get her for me as a wife.”

3 Then his father and mother said to him, “Is there no woman among the daughters of your brethren, or among all my people, that you must go and get a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines?”

And Samson said to his father, “Get her for me, for she pleases me well.”

4 But his father and mother did not know that it was of the LORD—that He was seeking an occasion to move against the Philistines. For at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

It says God was seeking an occasion to move against the Philistines…..Another translation says he was “creating an opportunity”!!! God is waiting on me and you to create an opportunity for Him to move on the earth and show the world His glory! You say that sounds sacrilegious pastor….God does not have to have a man to show his glory thru……well that may be true but He chooses to anyway!

…..lets look at some more examples:

1. Moses

a. The deliver of God’s people = God could have zapped Pharaoh off the planet and handled this Himself….but He worked thru a man of faith

Faith that created an opportunity for God’s Glory to be seen!!

b. Think of the Rod and the Rock = When the children of Israel ran out of water in the desert and they were grumbling and complaining couldn’t God have simply sent rain? He used Moses and it required Faith!!

2. David

a. God used David to kill the giant - Couldn’t God have struck down the giant Himself…..He used a young teenage boy – still so small in stature the armor did not fit him!

3. Joshua

a. Surely God could have caused the walls of Jericho to fall down…he could have sent an earthquake or something but instead He used a man of Faith to show His glory thru!~

Joshua was willing to pray, get Gods instructions and then follow them with radical faith no matter how strange the instructions sounded

Think about it with me….(Joshua 6) first God told him “Look – SEE I have given you Jericho – However we read in vs 1 that Jericho was tightly shut up. This proves to me that Joshua had tapped into this spiritual dimension…..a realm of the Spirit that we must tap into! WHY? Because there was something in the spirit realm that needed to be released into the natural realm and God needed a man full of faith and walking in the Spirit to see it, believe it and act on it. There are things right now that God has promised us….things that have been prayed about……things that have already been granted but God is waiting on men and women of faith to access the spirit realm and bring them into the natural realm!

I am ready for the SUPERNATURAL!!!

I am ready to see into the spirit realm on a regular basis

I am ready to walk past sick people and they will be healed.

I want demons to know my name

I want to know the heart of God deeply

I want to see sinners saved and demon-possessed people set free

I am ready to walk in the fullness of power that God has granted me

I am ready to see The Winners Church in 2 services, with a full children’s department, youth department, band and praise team…..

I want God’s glory so strong in the house of God that people get here on Saturday nights waiting for service to start on Sunday.

Every time I start filling this way….God begins to stretch my faith!

Radical, stretching, extreme FAITH!! A faith that is so radical it becomes supernatural in its working. Faith is going to be the key that unlocks access to the supernatural realm of God that we desire to abide in. It is time that we make our home in the spirit realm...we must abide in Him!! But here is the key.....

Do you realize that through faith you can have as much of God as you want…

Ephesian 3:12 says

Because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access to God

You have free access to God…….But you only have as much access to Him as you have faith to believe you can! Ask God today for supernatural, radical faith that grants you access to all of heaven!

Church was awesome today! Nothing like a group of hungry people crying out and praising Him. I think there is a sensitivity to the Spirit that happens when you are fasting. So when you are doing a corporate fast and everyone is in the flow....the results can be amazing!

During Praise and Worship we were singing a song and part of the lyrics were "my praise is a weapon, the battle is the Lord's". God spoke a strong word to us about Praise. Every time we begin to praise God the enemy is stopped in his tracks. When we stop praising he starts advancement. When we start praising we stop him again. Praise truly is a weapon you can use to "still" your enemy! No matter how you feel, or what your circumstances are today. Use your weapon of praise and stop the devil in his tracks!
